Number of spanning tree packets recieved

What is accBrPortStpInPkts?

This counter tracks incoming spanning tree bridge PDU (BPDU) frames received on this port, which carry the topology information that keeps the spanning tree protocol synchronized. Engineers confirm this counter is incrementing regularly (typically 2 BPDUs every 10 seconds in normal operation) to ensure the port maintains an active link to neighboring bridges. A BPDU counter that stops incrementing signals the link to an adjacent switch has likely failed, and the port should move toward root after MaxAge expires.
