Number of output packets dropped because they were held in queue too long
What is accBrPortOutDelayDiscPkts?
This counter records packets discarded because they aged out or were dropped from the output queue due to congestion (tail drop when the buffer became full). Network engineers track this to detect port saturation and packet loss—any non-zero value indicates the port is overloaded during traffic peaks. A port dropping 1,000 packets over an 8-hour workday might be acceptable during brief peaks, but 10,000 drops suggests sustained oversubscription.
