Description:
The administrative state of the AppleTalk router. If set to on(1), AppleTalk packets will be routed on ports which have been administratively enabled. If set to off(3), AppleTalk packets will be bridged.
What is accAtNodeAdState?
This controls whether the device routes or bridges AppleTalk traffic on enabled ports: 'on' enables routing mode, 'off' enables bridging mode. Network engineers configure this when deploying AppleTalk networks to determine whether the device should forward packets between networks or within a single segment. Setting it to 'on' makes the device act as an AppleTalk router; setting it to 'off' makes it switch packets locally.
