Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accAtNetTabProtocol

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.28.6.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The type of data-link protocol used. These types augment the standard definitions in the experimental branch of the MIB and are used to maintain conformity with ACC management commands. Setting this object will cause all other objects associated with this entry to be reset to their default values.

What is accAtNetTabProtocol?

This read-write field specifies which data-link protocol the port uses (such as Ethernet, Serial, or X.25). Network engineers set this during port configuration to match the physical media type and ensure the device treats the port correctly according to ACC management standards. Setting this to 'ethernet' tells the system to use Ethernet protocol on that port; changing it automatically resets all other port settings to defaults.
