What is accAtAarpStatsOutProbes?

This OID measures the count of AARP probe packets this device has sent, used during initialization to claim its AppleTalk address without conflicts. Network engineers monitor outbound probes to validate proper startup sequence and to detect repeated address claims suggesting configuration instability. A value of 87 indicates the device sent 87 AARP probes—typically one during startup, with additional probes during address renegotiation events.
