Description:

When operating in refresh mode, when it is time for an entry to age out, the device will refresh the entry by ARPing for it again. Devices will thus stay in the ARP table until disconnected, even if they are not communicating via the router. In norefresh mode, the entry will simply be aged out, and refreshed only if traffic warrants.

What is accArpRefresh?

This setting enables or disables automatic refresh of aging ARP entries, where enabled mode re-ARPs entries to keep them fresh even if the host is idle. Administrators enable refresh mode to ensure devices remain in the ARP table indefinitely (useful for stable, long-lived connections) or disable it to allow entries to naturally age out. With refresh mode enabled, a silent device would remain in the ARP cache indefinitely because the device periodically ARPs to refresh its entry.
