accHdlcRrPolling

Module: ACC-LAPB

OID (symbolic): ACC-LAPB::accHdlcRrPolling

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: T3 Timer.

What is accHdlcRrPolling?

This OID sets the T3 timer (also called the polling or RR timer) that controls how often the device sends status checks to the remote device when no data is flowing. Configure this to keep the link active and detect dead connections; too short creates unnecessary traffic, too long delays failure detection. A value of 30000 means the device sends a polling status frame every 30 seconds if no data has been exchanged.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-LAPB::accHdlcRrPolling

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-LAPB::accHdlcRrPolling.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
