Fill between frames with flags or ones

What is accHdlcIdleFill?

This OID determines whether the device sends flag bytes (0x7E pattern) or mark bits (all 1-bits) during periods when there is no data to transmit. This affects clock recovery and synchronization on some equipment; consult your hardware specs and link partner configuration. Choosing flag fill ensures steady synchronization by sending continuous 0x7E bytes, while ones-fill sends continuous 1-bits instead.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-LAPB::accHdlcIdleFill.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.7.2.1.11.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accHdlcIdleFill.1
