What is accIpxRteFltrDefaultAction?
This OID defines the default behavior the device should apply to route updates (advertisements) arriving from IPX neighbors that do not have an explicit route filter rule configured. An administrator sets this to either 'accept' or 'reject' to establish whether unknown routes are trusted by default, controlling the attack surface and preventing route injection from misconfigured peers. Setting this to 'reject' (a value of 0) ensures that only explicitly allowed routes from unknown neighbors are accepted, improving security.
