IPX RIP requests received

What is accIpxRipReqIns?

This OID counts the total number of IPX RIP request packets received by the router from neighbors asking for routing information. Engineers use this counter to verify that RIP is functioning and that neighbors are actively requesting routes, which indicates the routing protocol is operational. For example, if the counter shows 0 packets despite RIP being enabled for days, it suggests that either RIP is misconfigured or neighbors are unable to communicate.
