What is accIpxRipDemandReqIns?
This OID counts the number of on-demand RIP request packets the router has received, which are sent by neighbors only when they need routing information rather than at regular intervals. Engineers use this to understand demand-RIP usage patterns and to confirm that the router is receiving urgent routing queries from neighbors as expected. For example, a low demand-request count in a network with many WAN links suggests demand-RIP is not actively being used to reduce routing traffic.
