Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description:

The number of packets received on this port which could not be forwarded, either because there were transmitted via a MAC-layer broadcast, or because their source or destination network number were unknown.

What is accIpxPortFwdErrs?

This OID counts how many incoming IPX packets failed to forward because they were broadcast packets, or the source or destination network address was not in the routing table. You'd check this when troubleshooting why certain network nodes can't reach each other, or to identify unknown networks that might be misconfigured. For example, a rapidly increasing count of 342 suggests your router doesn't know how to reach the destination network and should trigger a routing table review.
