What is accIpxNodeInErrs?

This counter records the number of incoming IPX packets that the router had to discard due to internal errors like memory problems or packet corruption. Sysadmins monitor this to detect hardware issues or resource exhaustion that compromise the router's ability to process all received traffic. A sudden jump from 2 errors to 500 errors in an hour is a red flag suggesting the device may be overloaded or experiencing hardware failure.
