Description: Demand RIP/SAP Settle Timer

What is accIpxNetRtgSettleTimer?

This OID sets the settle timer (1 to 900 seconds) that demand routers wait after routing activity stops before allowing the interface to go idle. Operators configure this to prevent thrashing on flaky links that would repeatedly bring the interface up and down. A value of 30 seconds keeps an active routing session alive for 30 seconds of silence before closing.
