Description:

Demand RIP/SAP Poll Count

What is accIpxNetRtgPollCnt?

This OID specifies how many RIP/SAP poll attempts (1 to 255) the router makes before declaring the remote router unreachable on demand-based networks. A lower count speeds up failover to a backup route but may false-positive on slow links; higher counts tolerate latency. Setting it to 3 means three attempts before the route is marked dead.
