Description: LAN Encapsulation used for Ethernets.

What is accIpxNetEncap?

ACC-IPX::accIpxNetEncap selects the frame encapsulation method (Ethernet II, 802.2, 802.3 raw, etc.) used to wrap IPX packets on LAN cables. Different Novell clients and servers expect specific encapsulation formats, so engineers must match settings across the network. If workstations are configured for "Ethernet II" but the router sends "802.3 Raw," the workstations won't receive the packets even though the cable is connected.
