ipMultiPathAge

Module: ACC-IP

OID (symbolic): ACC-IP::ipMultiPathAge

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.23.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The number of seconds since this route was last updated or otherwise determined to be correct. Note that no semantics of `too old' can be implied except through knowledge of the routing protocol by which the route was learned.

What is ipMultiPathAge?

The ACC-IP::ipMultiPathAge OID stores the number of seconds elapsed since this route was last updated or verified as correct by the routing protocol. A network engineer monitors this to detect stale routes that may no longer be valid or to verify that dynamic routing protocols are actively maintaining the route. For example, ipMultiPathAge = 30 means the route was confirmed 30 seconds ago; a very high age might indicate the route is no longer being updated.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.23.1.9
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-IP::ipMultiPathAge

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.23.1.9.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-IP::ipMultiPathAge.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.23.1.9.1 i <value>
