Type of encapsulation used on serial line
What is accFrParmEncap?
This OID selects the encapsulation method used to wrap data frames before sending them over Frame Relay, such as RFC 1490 or Cisco proprietary formats. Engineers must set this to match what the remote router or service provider expects, otherwise data cannot be properly decoded on arrival. A value of 1 might represent RFC 1490 encapsulation, while 2 represents Cisco encapsulation or another vendor format.
