accFrDlcmiType

Module: ACC-FR

OID (symbolic): ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Link Maintenance is assymmetrical, so one end must be user, the other network. Normally the bridge/router is user.

What is accFrDlcmiType?

This OID configures whether the device acts as a user-side (CPE) or network-side (provider) Frame Relay endpoint for link management purposes. Network engineers almost always set this to user mode, since bridges and routers act as CPE connecting to provider equipment. A value of 1 sets the device as a user endpoint, while 2 would set it as a network (provider) endpoint.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.10.1 i <value>
