Module: ACC-FR

OID (symbolic): ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

This variable states which Data Link Connection Management scheme is active (and by implication, what DLCI it uses) on the Frame Relay interface.

What is accFrDlcmiState?

This OID indicates whether Frame Relay Link Management (DLCMI) is running and which variant is active (LMI, ANSI LMI, or Q.933), along with the DLCI it uses for management. Network engineers configure this during circuit provisioning to match the Frame Relay service provider's management protocol. A typical value of 1 enables standard LMI mode, while 2 enables ANSI mode, determining how the device monitors the link health.
