accFrDlcmiIdleTimer

Module: ACC-FR

OID (symbolic): ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiIdleTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Number of minutes without receiving any non-dlcmi frames before declaring the link idle. Setting the timer to 0 will disable it.

What is accFrDlcmiIdleTimer?

This OID sets or retrieves the idle timeout threshold (0–255 minutes) for Frame Relay DLCMI connections before the system declares the link inactive. Network engineers configure this value to balance link responsiveness with tolerance for temporary traffic gaps. For example, setting this to 5 means the system waits 5 minutes without receiving non-DLCMI frames before marking the connection idle; setting it to 0 disables idle detection entirely.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.11
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiIdleTimer

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-FR::accFrDlcmiIdleTimer.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.20.3.1.11.1 i <value>
