Description:
Number of frames received from the network in- dicating forward congestion since the circuit was created.
What is accFrCktFECNrcvds?
This OID counts the total number of frames marked with the Forward Explicit Congestion Notification (FECN) bit received from the network since the circuit was created. An engineer watches this counter to detect congestion on the remote end of the link, which prompts upstream traffic shaping. For example, a steadily rising count of FECN-marked frames signals that the far end is overloaded and cannot accept data at current rates.
