Description:

What is accExtProtImpAllowed?

This OID controls whether a particular external protocol implementation is allowed or enabled on the device, accepting enumerated values that can be read and written by administrators. You modify this to enable or disable protocol support without restarting the entire device, useful when transitioning between network protocol generations. For example, setting this to 0 (disabled) removes IPX/SPX support from a device migrating to pure TCP/IP.
