Number of late collisions detected.

What is accEnetStatLateColls?

This OID counts late collisions, which happen when two devices transmit at nearly the same moment despite checking for carrier, usually indicating a duplex mismatch or excessively long cable. Late collisions are a red flag for configuration errors or hardware faults, as they should not occur on correctly configured modern Ethernet. For example, any late collision detected means the port is either in half-duplex mode talking to a full-duplex device, or the cable run exceeds safe distance limits.
