Description:
The total number of uncompressed packets presented for compression which could not be compressed (i.e., the packet expanded). These packets are transmitted in their uncompressed form.
What is accCompressX25StatUnCompOuts?
This OID counts packets being sent to the X.25 peer that could not be compressed because compression would have made them larger. Network engineers need to know this ratio to confirm that the compression algorithm is not harming performance by expanding incompressible traffic. A climbing counter suggests changing traffic patterns (like already-compressed media arriving) that no longer benefit from compression.
