Description:
The administrative status of data compression for this neighbor. ON enables data compression and OFF disables it. Setting the status to INVALID permanently removes the entry from the table.
What is accCompressX25NeighborStatus?
This OID controls whether compression is active on an X.25 neighbor link (read-write integer: ON, OFF, or INVALID to remove). Network engineers enable or disable this based on X.25 link capacity and CPU constraints, especially on older or slower networks. For example, setting this to ON compresses traffic on a slow X.25 link to a branch office, while INVALID removes the neighbor configuration entirely.
