Description:

The number of resynchronizations.

What is accCompressSmdsStatResyncs?

This OID counts how many times the compression history buffers at both ends of the link have had to be resynchronized, either due to errors or normal operation (a running counter of resync events). Engineers use this as a quality metric—frequent resyncs degrade compression efficiency and add latency, indicating either poor link quality or compression engine issues. If this counter is 150 resyncs per day, the connection is unstable and may benefit from reducing the compression window size.
