Description: The total number of uncompressed packets presented for compression which could not be compressed (i.e., the packet expanded). These packets are transmitted in their uncompressed form.
What is accCompressPhysStatUnCompOuts?
This counter tallies packets that the compressor attempted to shrink but actually expanded, so they were transmitted uncompressed to avoid wasting bandwidth. Network engineers care about this value because high counts suggest tuning compression parameters or switching to incompressible data types. If this reaches 5,000 packets in an hour, it signals the compression algorithm is harming throughput for that traffic pattern.
