Description: The total number of compressed octets presented for decompression.
What is accCompressPhysStatOctetsIns?
This counter totals the number of bytes that arrived at the decompressor—that is, the compressed traffic received from the network. Engineers care about this value to measure how much data reduction the compression is achieving compared to outgoing bytes. If this counter shows 1,000,000 octets and outgoing shows 500,000, compression reduced inbound traffic by 50 percent.
