Description:
The number of packets received with no end marker. Missing end markers require a resynchronization of the history buffers at each end of the link.
What is accCompressPhysStatNoEndMarks?
This counter measures packets missing end-of-message markers on the physical port, preventing the decompressor from determining message boundaries correctly. Network engineers must investigate this condition because missing markers trigger costly resynchronizations that reduce compression performance. A value of 8 missing end markers in a week is acceptable, but 8 in an hour requires checking the line quality or remote compression settings.
