Description:
The number of packets received with invalid compression headers. A header error requires a resynchronization of the history buffers at each end of the link.
What is accCompressPhysStatHdrErrors?
This counter counts compressed packets with invalid or corrupted compression headers, which forces the system to resynchronize history buffers to recover. Network engineers monitor this closely because repeated header errors signal link corruption, compression parameter mismatches between peers, or hardware degradation. A sudden jump from 2 to 50 header errors in an hour indicates the link quality has degraded and requires immediate investigation.
