Description:
The average compression rate of packets presented for decompression expressed as a percentage between 0 and 100. 100% is the unattainable rate which could only be achieved by compressing all packets to zero bits.
What is accCompressDialStatAvgCompIn?
This gauge shows the average compression ratio as a percentage for data being decompressed (0-100%, where higher is better compression). Network engineers use this to verify that incoming compressed traffic is achieving expected compression ratios. A reading of 65% means incoming traffic has been compressed to 65% of its original size (a 35% reduction).
