OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.29.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-only

Description:

The value of giaddr returned in the last Bootp reply processed. This is the address used by the unit as the address of any intermediate gateway between the unit and the Bootp server during the download of the configuration script file.

What is accBootgiaddr?

This OID contains the IP address of the first gateway (intermediate router) that the device uses to reach the BOOTP server, as specified in the boot reply. This is critical when your BOOTP server sits on a different subnet, because the gateway address tells you the path the device will take to download its configuration. For instance, a value of 10.0.0.1 means the device will send TFTP requests through that router to reach the BOOTP server.
