What is accAtPortStatsHopCounts?
This counter tracks AppleTalk packets that were discarded because they exceeded the maximum hop limit (typically 15 in AppleTalk), indicating the packet traveled too far through the network. High hop-count drops suggest routing loops or misconfigured network diameter settings that cause packets to bounce between routers indefinitely. A sudden spike to 1,200 dropped packets would warrant checking your RTMP routing protocol configuration and ensuring no routers are accidentally repeating routes.
