accAtAarpStatsInResponses

Module: ACC-AT

OID (symbolic): ACC-AT::accAtAarpStatsInResponses

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.28.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: The number of AARP response packets received.

What is accAtAarpStatsInResponses?

This OID counts incoming AARP response packets, which are answers to address resolution requests ('I own that address, here's my MAC address'). A healthy AARP conversation has responses matching the number of requests, so comparing this counter to incoming requests helps detect network issues. If requests total 1000 but responses only 50, devices aren't answering lookups and AppleTalk connectivity will break.
