What is accAtAarpStatsDiscards?

This counter measures the number of outgoing data packets that were dropped because the network interface was still waiting for an address resolution reply. You care about this metric to detect address resolution problems that cause packet loss on AppleTalk networks. A value of 42 indicates the network had 42 instances where packets couldn't be sent while waiting for address resolution, suggesting either slow address lookup or many unknown destinations.
