hwNqaJitterSDOverThreshold

Module: A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB

OID (symbolic): A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterSDOverThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.5.25.28.3.5

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: The SD means the jitter values from source to destination.

It is generated when the value of hwNqaReactCurrentStatus changes. The change may occur when the watched condition is over threshold or below threshold.

The over threshold situations is specified as below. 1. The average of SD in one jitter test is not in the range hwNqaReactThresholdLowerLimit through hwNqaReactThresholdUpperLimit and the hwNqaReactThresholdType is specified as 'average' type. 2. The average of SD in one jitter test is accumulatively not in the range hwNqaReactThresholdLowerLimit through hwNqaReactThresholdUpperLimit for a number of times specified in hwNqaReactThresholdAccumNum and the hwNqaReactThresholdType is specified as 'accumulative' type.

This notification is valid only when hwNqaReactActionType is 'trapOnly' or 'trapAndTrigger' and pingCtlType of the test is hwNqajitter.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterSDOverThreshold
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.5.25.28.3.5

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:59652->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (476249860) 55 days, 2:54:58.60
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterSDOverThreshold

SNMPv3 example:

snmptrap -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3user -a SHA -A "AuthPass1" -x AES -X "PrivPass1" <manager> '' A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterSDOverThreshold
