hwNqaJitterRTTOverThreshold

Module: A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB

OID (symbolic): A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterRTTOverThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.5.25.28.3.2

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: It is generated when the value of hwNqaReactCurrentStatus changes. The change may occur when the watched condition is over threshold or below threshold.

The over threshold situations is specified as below. 1. The average NQA round-trip-time (RTT) of jitter packets is not in the range hwNqaReactThresholdLowerLimit through hwNqaReactThresholdUpperLimit. 2. The RTT of jitter packets is accumulatively not in the range hwNqaReactThresholdLowerLimit through hwNqaReactThresholdUpperLimit for a number of times specified in hwNqaReactThresholdAccumNum in one test.

This notification is valid only when hwNqaReactActionType is 'trapOnly' or 'trapAndTrigger' and pingCtlType of the test is hwNqajitter.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterRTTOverThreshold
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.5.25.28.3.2

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:64679->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (213273255) 24 days, 16:25:32.55
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: A3COM-HUAWEI-NQA-MIB::hwNqaJitterRTTOverThreshold
