What is h3cDot11RPFragThreshold?
This integer OID defines the maximum frame size in octets before the MAC layer splits data into smaller fragments for transmission. Fragmentation increases resilience in noisy RF environments but reduces throughput due to retransmission overhead. A threshold of 2346 disables fragmentation; 1024 forces frames larger than 1KB into smaller pieces.
