This Counter64 measures outbound broadcast packets transmitted by the AP to all associated wireless clients. Network engineers use this to verify that the AP is properly disseminating management frames and broadcasts to the network. A spike from 100,000 to 500,000 packets during an address resolution event shows normal ARP activity reaching multiple clients.
