Periphonics MIBs

Periphonics (later part of Nortel) made interactive voice response (IVR) and Voice Response Unit (VRU) telephony platforms for call centers, and its two MIBs here reflect that: PERIPHONICS-MIB is only the shared OID-registration root, while PERIPHONICS-VRU-NETWORK-MIB carries the real content -- an alarm log tracking severity, event code, and which specific VRU unit, telephony line, or host raised each fault. That alarm log is essentially a rolling fault history for the VRU network rather than live performance counters, letting an operator spot a failing voice port or line interface by watching for a cluster of high-severity entries tied to the same line ID.
