Inktomi MIBs

Inktomi's single module, INKTOMI-TS-MIB, covers Traffic Server, an HTTP proxy/web-caching appliance that Inktomi originally built and which continues today as the open-source Apache Traffic Server. It exposes cache-efficiency metrics (document hit rate, bandwidth savings ratio) and connection-load counters (client/server connections, throughput), both per-node and cluster-wide, letting an operator compare one node's hit rate against its cluster peers to spot an underperforming caching box. If you operate a Traffic Server (Inktomi-lineage or Apache) caching/proxy deployment, this module's hit-rate and connection-count OIDs are the primary software-health indicators to watch; it has no hardware-sensor content since Traffic Server is a software caching appliance rather than dedicated hardware.
