zyRadiusAuthenticationServerTimeout
Module: ZYXEL-RADIUS-MIB
OID (symbolic): ZYXEL-RADIUS-MIB::zyRadiusAuthenticationServerTimeout
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.71.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Specify the amount of time in seconds that the switch waits for an authentication request response from the RADIUS server. If you are using indexPriority for your authentication and you are using two RADIUS servers then the timeout value is divided between the two RADIUS servers. For example, if you set the timeout value to 30 seconds, then the Switch waits for a response from the first RADIUS server for 15 seconds and then tries the second RADIUS server.
What is zyRadiusAuthenticationServerTimeout?
This sets, in seconds, how long the switch waits for a response from a RADIUS authentication server before considering the attempt timed out. Admins should be aware that when using indexPriority mode with two servers, this total timeout value gets divided between the two servers rather than applying fully to each. If zyRadiusAuthenticationServerTimeout is set to 30 seconds with two servers in indexPriority mode, the switch waits about 15 seconds for each server before moving to the next.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.71.1.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ZYXEL-RADIUS-MIB::zyRadiusAuthenticationServerTimeout
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.71.1.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZYXEL-RADIUS-MIB::zyRadiusAuthenticationServerTimeout.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.15.3.71.1.1.2.1 i <value>
