Description: Enable/Disable this if you want the switch to add the user-defined identifier string and variables to PADI and PADR packets from PPPoE clients.

What is zyPppoeIaFlexibleCircuitIdSyntaxState?

This object enables or disables adding a user-defined identifier string and variables into the Circuit ID sub-option of PADI and PADR packets sent by PPPoE clients. Admins enable it when they want a customized, flexible circuit-ID format beyond the switch default embedded in discovery packets for use by the PPPoE server's accounting or authentication policies. Enabling this and then configuring the flexible circuit-ID string and option lets the switch tag client PADI/PADR packets with a custom identifier.
