Description: Enable/Disable the detection on switch to monitor if the configured rate limit for a specific control packet is exceeded and take the mode selected below.

What is zyErrdisableDetectReasonState?

This read-write value enables or disables detection, for a specific control packet type, of whether the configured rate limit has been exceeded and the associated response mode should be taken. An admin enables this to have the switch actively monitor and respond to a specific type of excessive control-plane traffic, such as ARP or BPDU floods, on its ports. For example, enabling this object for the ARP-related detect reason has the switch start monitoring ARP packet rates on each port against the configured CPU protection limit.
