Description: The total times of receiving datagrams failure caused by spilled buffer.

What is tcpRecvBufOver?

This read-only, obsolete counter reports the total number of times receiving a TCP datagram failed because the receive buffer overflowed. Admins would use it to detect the device dropping incoming TCP data due to insufficient receive buffer space, though it is marked obsolete and may not be populated on newer devices. For example, a rising tcpRecvBufOver count could explain why a management session or application experiences unexpected TCP data loss under load.
