What is secTryCount?

This counter tracks the number of failed SNMP authentication attempts recorded against the device. Admins monitor it to detect brute-force attempts against SNMP community strings and decide whether to tighten ACLs or disable SNMP access from the source. For example, secTryCount climbing from 3 to 15 within a minute would indicate an active credential-guessing attempt underway.
