What is zxL2ptGlobalSubstituteDmacStp?
This is the substitute destination MAC address the switch writes into tunneled Spanning Tree Protocol BPDUs so they aren't intercepted and processed by intermediate provider switches. It lets customer STP instances traverse a provider network without the provider's own switches terminating the BPDUs. For example, an admin configures zxL2ptGlobalSubstituteDmacStp to a reserved multicast-like MAC that the provider switches simply forward rather than act on.
