Description: The destination counting switch

What is zxr10bgpPolicyAccDst?

This value turns destination-address traffic counting on or off, enable(1) or disable(2), for BGP policy accounting on a given interface, address type, and direction combination, the destination-side counterpart to zxr10bgpPolicyAccSrc, per the source description "The destination counting switch". A network administrator enables this to break down BGP-routed traffic statistics by destination address, useful for identifying which downstream networks are consuming the most bandwidth. For example, setting zxr10bgpPolicyAccDst to enable(1) on an outbound IPv6 entry starts collecting per-destination traffic counts for that interface's outbound IPv6 BGP traffic.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.3.6000.167.2.1.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ZXR10-BGP-POLICY-ACCOUNTING-MIB::zxr10bgpPolicyAccDst

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.3.6000.167.2.1.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZXR10-BGP-POLICY-ACCOUNTING-MIB::zxr10bgpPolicyAccDst.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.3.6000.167.2.1.1.1.5.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> zxr10bgpPolicyAccDst.1
