staPortAdminEdgePort
Module: V2H124-24-MIB
OID (symbolic): V2H124-24-MIB::staPortAdminEdgePort
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.12.30.1.5.2.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: The administrative value of the Edge Port parameter. A value of TRUE(1) indicates that this port should be assumed to be an edge-port and a value of FALSE(2) indicates that this port should be assumed to be a non-edge-port.
What is staPortAdminEdgePort?
Sets the administrative Edge Port flag for this port: TRUE(1) tells Spanning Tree to assume this port connects to a single end-host (like a PC) rather than another bridge, letting it skip straight to forwarding; FALSE(2) treats it as a normal, potentially loop-prone, non-edge port.
